I am a Teacher Scholar Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Wake Forest University . I earned my PhD in 2019 from the University of Georgia under the direction of Pete L. Clark. My research interests are in number theory and arithmetic geometry. I am particularly interested in the arithmetic of curves with automorphisms, especially hyperelliptic curves.
In Spring 2021, I will serve as one of the lecturers for Arizona Winter Semester 2021: Virtual School in Number Theory
I can be reached at watsonl at wfu dot edu.
