MATH 1113 — Precalculus

This class is held Tuesdays and Thursdays  9:30-10:45am in Davison Life Sciences, Room C130.

Office Hours: Tuesdays 11:00am – 1:00 pm and Thursdays  11:00am – 12:00pm.

Course Objectives
This course is designed to prepare students for calculus. In this course, we will complete an algebra review and we will study functions and models in detail. We will pay special attention to specific functions including powers, exponentials, logarithms, rational functions, and trigonometric functions. By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of each of these functions.
